A magic colour-changing mug is a standard ceramic mug coated with a special heat-reactive sublimation layer. When cold, the exterior appears dark (usually black). When hot liquid is poured in, the coating reacts to the heat and your brand artwork, logo, or personalised design gradually becomes visible in full colour. The effect reverses when the mug cools. It is microwave-safe for beverages, but hand-washing is recommended to preserve the coating’s longevity. The heat-reveal design is vibrant, long-lasting, and fully customisable with your brand artwork.

Ceramic mugs are fired at lower temperatures — slightly more porous, denser, and the most budget-friendly option. Porcelain mugs are fired at higher temperatures, making them denser, less porous, smoother to the touch, and noticeably more refined in appearance and feel. Logos and artwork appear sharper and more premium on porcelain. For budget-conscious bulk orders, ceramic is excellent.
