Knit/Jacquard Style

Perfect for designs that are sleek and straightforward or have repeating patterns.

Dye Sublimation

The dye sublimation technique uses heat transfer to embed your design deeply into the custom sock fabric. This method ensures your design is detailed, durable, and features vivid colors.

Choose this option for designs too intricate to be knitted or for those with complex, multicolored patterns.

Note that dye sublimated socks tend to be pricier than their knitted counterparts.

Socks Length

Our custom socks are available in four standard sizes to suit various needs. However, if you require socks of a specific length, we’re happy to accommodate. Simply inform us of your desired sock length, and we’ll customize it for you.

No Show Socks

If your design is clean, simple, or involves a repeating pattern, opt for the Knitted/Jacquard fabrication. For more intricate, colorful designs, Dye Sublimation is the way to go. If you require more information to make your decision, feel free to reach out to us.

How many colors can my custom socks have? Can my socks have a gradient effect?

Knitted socks are limited to a maximum of five colors. If your design exceeds this, consider reducing the number of colors or choose printed socks. Additionally, knitted socks do not suit gradient effects well. It’s advisable to either eliminate the gradient or switch to printed socks for better results.

1. What distinguishes 180-degree from 360-degree dye sublimated socks?

Dye sublimation creates detailed, vibrant, and long-lasting designs on socks, best suited for synthetic fabrics like polyester.

With 180-degree dye sublimation, the design is printed on the front, back, or both, but not the sides. This method, often using polyester/spandex, is ideal for complex designs that can’t be knitted. These socks feel smoother due to less fuzz.

360-degree dye sublimation offers an advanced option with almost seamless graphics. It ensures better color depth and maintains the design’s integrity even when stretched, without leaving ‘white gaps’. These socks can be made from various materials, including polyester and cotton, making them perfect for gifts, festivals, and corporate merchandise.

Price-wise, 360-degree sublimated socks are more expensive than the 180-degree variety.

What’s the difference between custom dress socks and custom sports socks, and how do I choose?

Dress Socks:

Designed for formal attire and typically worn with dress shoes, dress socks are usually crew length or longer. Our dress socks are composed of about 75% cotton, 20% polyester, and 5% spandex. They feature a tighter knit, allowing for intricate logos and are ideal for employee gifts and corporate giveaways.

Sports Socks:

Sports or athletic socks are designed for use with sneakers or sports shoes. They focus on moisture absorption or wicking for enhanced foot comfort. We add full/half terry cushioning to our sports socks, using a knitting method that adds extra padding. These socks are made from a mix of acrylic, nylon, and elastic, varying with sock length.

Our standard custom promotional socks, similar in material to sports socks, are thinner and lack terry cushioning. Suitable for event giveaways, school clubs, casual wear, or budget-friendly promotions, they can be knitted or printed depending on the design.
