Six washable STAEDTLER sidewalk chalks in white, yellow, orange, pink, blue and green, supplied in a plain white cardboard box that we print with your logo. The chalk is gypsum, made in Germany. We supply and brand the set; we do not manufacture it.

Check with the venue before you order, not after. This is the question that matters and almost nobody asks it. Washable means the chalk lifts with water and a brush from smooth, sealed concrete, which is what the specification is describing. It does not mean the chalk leaves no trace on every surface. Unsealed concrete, porous pavers, textured non-slip tiles and light-coloured granite can hold pigment, especially the pink and blue, and a hose alone may not clear it. If your event is in a mall atrium, a condominium common area, a school courtyard or anywhere with a managing agent, get written sign-off on chalk before you commit to a thousand sets. A grass or covered-carpark site is the safe version.

You get a choice of print shape here, which the pencil sets do not give you. The lid takes either a 55 x 55mm square or a 65 x 35mm landscape panel, both one colour. That matters because a logo that dies in one shape often works in the other: a stacked lock-up with a tagline underneath wants the square, while a wide horizontal wordmark wants the landscape. On the colouring pencil set of 6 you get one narrow strip and no choice. Lay your mark into both rectangles before artwork stage and pick the one that needs the least shrinking.

Full colour is possible on this item, unlike most of the range. The mock-up photographed here shows a multi-coloured logo, and that is achievable, but not by pad print. Pad print lays one flat colour per pass. The full-colour route is the 78 x 48mm digital label, which carries a personalisation surcharge and reads as a label applied to the box rather than as print on the card. If your brand depends on a gradient or a photographic element, the label is the honest answer; if a one-colour version of your mark exists, pad print looks better and costs less.

Chalk is heavy and bulky for its value, so plan the delivery with the order. A carton holds 50 sets at 10kg and 0.03 cubic metres, which means a 1,000-set order is twenty cartons, 200kg and roughly 0.6 cubic metres. That is a pallet, not a parcel. It arrives fine at one address, but if the sets are being split across branches, schools or event sites, raise it at quote stage: on an item at this price the cost of multi-site delivery can approach the cost of the chalk itself. Plan one drop and distribute internally where you can.
