Getting them right means a custom lanyard that prints sharply and holds the right pass or device. Here’s a plain guide to lanyard materials, widths and attachments.
The 30-second version: polyester is the everyday workhorse, tubular is budget, nylon is premium-smooth, and dye-sublimation gives full-colour edge-to-edge. Pick a width for your design, and match the attachment (lobster clip, J-hook, etc.) to what it holds. Our default MOQ is 200 pieces, though it isn’t strict — smaller runs are often possible when a style is in stock or the artwork is simplified.

Widths & printing
Common widths are 10mm, 15mm, 20mm and 25mm — wider lanyards give more room for a logo and repeated text. For full-colour, edge-to-edge artwork (gradients, patterns), dye-sublimation on polyester is the method; for simple 1–2 colour logos, silkscreen is economical. Attachments & safety
The attachment is what holds the card or device: a lobster clip or J-hook for ID cards, an oval/key ring for keys, and a swivel clip for flexibility.
