Custom Elastic Headband, Full Colour Sublimation Print

A lightweight headband in 100% polyester crepe with a gathered elastic back, printed edge to edge in full colour by sublimation. One size fits most, adjustable from 56 to 60cm. The print covers the whole band, so the artwork is the product. We supply and brand it; we do not manufacture it.

Crepe takes sublimation better than knitted fabric does. Worth knowing if you have seen a printed beanie come back disappointing. Sublimation ink bonds into polyester fibre, and on a knit the loops create shadow between them that drops apparent saturation, which is why our full colour beanie carries a warning about subdued output. Crepe is a woven fabric with a fine crinkled surface and a far flatter face, so colour comes through closer to the file. Photographic artwork, gradients and dense patterns all hold up here in a way they do not on knitwear. It is still fabric, not paper, so expect a small shift rather than an exact match.

The elastic panel is at the back, which decides where the artwork goes. A practical point that catches people out at artwork stage. The gathered elastic section sits at the nape and is the part that stretches and bunches; anything printed there distorts. The flat, visible real estate is the front and sides, and on a headband worn across the forehead the viewer only ever sees the front third. Put a logo dead centre front and repeat the pattern around the rest. A single mark placed off-centre will spend most of its life hidden behind someone’s ear.

Thirty-five working days by air for a fresh indent, or 7 days express on local stock designs. A full sublimation run is an indent item made to your artwork, not stock being decorated, and thirty-five working days is around seven calendar weeks before it ships. If your date is tighter, ask us about 7 days express, which runs off designs we already hold locally. The clock starts at artwork approval, not at enquiry, so count backwards from the event date and leave room for proofing. Anything inside two months is not realistic.

Who buys headbands in Singapore. Unlike a beanie, this one makes sense locally. It is a sweat-management and identification item rather than a warmth item: running clubs and corporate race teams, gyms and fitness studios, yoga and pilates brands, dragon boat and outdoor crews, salon and spa staff, and F&B or events teams who need hair off the face and a uniform look.
