Your logo goes on the box, not on the pencils. This is the thing to settle before you choose this set. Each barrel is stamped by the maker and cannot be overprinted, so the branding area is the white card box: 30 x 65mm, one colour. That is not a limitation we can quote around — it is how the product is made. If your brief says “our logo on every pencil”, this is the wrong item and a plain unbranded set is the right one. If the brief is a quality gift that happens to carry your mark, the box is the surface and it does the job.

Design for one colour on white card, not for a printed box. The image here shows the box as it arrives: plain white, uncoated. A pad print lays down a single flat colour, so gradients, photographs, drop shadows and fine tonal work will not reproduce. Send a one-colour version of your mark — solid shapes, clear counters, nothing thinner than about 0.3mm at final size. Brands that only have a full-colour logo should decide early whether a mono version exists, because that decision cannot be deferred to artwork stage.

A recognised maker shares the credit for your gift. Worth thinking about rather than assuming. Handing someone a STAEDTLER set says the giver did not cheap out, and the quality is visible on the barrel before anyone reads the box — useful for a client gift or a staff welcome pack. But the recipient will remember the pencil brand as readily as yours. If the goal is pure brand exposure per dollar, our coloured pencil set in a kraft box costs a fraction of this and puts nothing on the product but you. Choose this set when the quality signal is the point.
