Why this one

A phone torch is bright but harsh, the sort of glare that makes reading a menu or finding a dropped earring uncomfortable. Clip this shade on and the same light spreads into a warm glow that works as a bedside lamp, a reading light or a lantern on a campsite. There is no extra gadget to power, since it uses the flash the phone already has. Folded flat it weighs next to nothing, which makes it an easy mass giveaway at large events where the gift has to fit in every goodie bag.

Branding

Your logo is pad printed or screen printed on the plastic clip, within an area of about 20 × 30 mm. A single dark colour gives the cleanest result on the white clip; avoid very fine text at this size. We send a digital mockup before production; logo setup is quoted with your order.

Best for — and not for

Suits: concerts and stadium events, night runs and campouts, school and youth programmes, emergency-preparedness kits and high-volume roadshow giveaways.

Less suited to: long periods of use as a main light. Brightness depends on the phone’s own flash, and running the torch draws on the phone battery.
