The print area on the camera itself is 20 x 7mm, which is smaller than most people picture. Settle this before you fall in love with the product. Twenty millimetres by seven is roughly the size of a shirt-button row: a short wordmark in a clean face will read, an icon plus name will not, and anything with a tagline is out. The far larger branding surface is the gift box sleeve, which takes a full printed wrap and is where the design work should go. Think of this as a branded box containing a discreetly marked camera, not as a camera covered in your logo. Budget for the sleeve if the brand presence matters.

What 12MP means here, and what it does not. Worth saying plainly so nobody is disappointed. The sensor behind that number is small and the optimal shooting distance is 50 to 100cm, so this is a close-range, good-light device. In daylight or a well-lit venue it produces the slightly soft, grainy, high-contrast look that people currently pay money to imitate with filters, and that is exactly why it works as an event item. In a dim bar it will struggle. If the brief is usable photography, it is the wrong product. If the brief is a camera that produces shareable, lo-fi, obviously-not-a-phone images at an activation, it is a very good one.

One contradiction in the packaging we would rather flag than let you discover. The printed gift box states that a Micro-SD card is not included. In practice the card is supplied with the camera as a separate component, so the unit arrives able to shoot out of the box. We mention it because a recipient who reads the box will assume they need to buy a card, and a line in your insert or a sticker on the sleeve removes that confusion entirely. Cards up to 32GB are supported if anyone wants more room.

A battery changes how you ship and store it. The 200mAh lithium-ion cell is small, but it is still a battery, which affects air freight paperwork, and a camera stored for a year with a flat cell may need a charge before it works. If these are being held for a launch or distributed across offices, order closer to the date rather than early, and charge a sample from each carton before an event rather than discovering the problem at the booth.
