The lid folds back, and that is what makes it a keeper. Most reusable cups use a slide or a plug that you have to hold out of the way, or put down somewhere. This one hinges all the way flat against the lid, so the drinking aperture is clear and nothing touches your face. It is a small mechanical difference that decides whether a cup gets used after the first week.

Steel outside, polypropylene inside. The outer takes the knocks and the print; the inner keeps the drink off bare metal, which is what gives it a neutral taste. Double walled, so it holds heat without burning the hand carrying it.

Fourteen colours and a matched lid. The lid is moulded in the body colour rather than a default black, which is the detail that stops a branded cup looking like a giveaway. If the brand colour is in the range, the cup reads as yours before the logo is even seen.
