Custom Melamine Plate Main Feature

Custom Printed Plates Singapore: Ceramic vs Melamine, Sizes & Printing

A printed plate is a surprisingly versatile branded item — a full-colour canvas for restaurants, events and merchandise. But the material decides everything: how it’s used, whether it survives, and how premium it feels. Before you order custom printed plates, here’s how ceramic and melamine compare, plus sizes and printing.

The 30-second version: ceramic is premium and microwave-safe but breakable; melamine is near-unbreakable and great for kids, outdoors and busy F&B. Match the material to the setting, and full-colour print the design. Our default MOQ is 200 pieces, though it isn’t strict — smaller runs are often possible when a style is in stock or the artwork is simplified.

Sizes & printing

Common sizes run from small side/dessert plates (~17–20cm) to dinner plates (~25–28cm). Both ceramic and melamine take full-colour printing — the whole face is a canvas for a design, logo or pattern. For ceramic, decals/sublimation give vivid, dishwasher-durable results; melamine is printed and sealed during moulding. Decide whether the plate is for use (food-safe surface) or display.
